My cats mother had a stub of a tail, something like what a Bob Cat would have and she had a litter of 5 kittens on my patio, two of the kittens had no tails, two of the kittens had regular tails and one of the kittens had a stubby tail like his mom.

I adopted the two with no tails. None of the cats ever grew their tail longer once they were born.

it is funny but my male cat loves to play with wadded up balls of paper. Sometimes they do play with each other something like they did as kittens and they will run from my bedroom through the hall to my office chasing each other.

It was a gradual thing, I spent something like 22 years from when I was 18 until I was 40 studying Celtic History, most especially Irish, Scots and Welsh History and Culture and as part of that I read what myths and stories I could find. At some point I read the Evangeline Walton novelization of the stories in the Mabinogion, and then from there I just kept on reading and studying and then I eventually read the Mabinogion it self and by this time I had decided that i took it all quite seriously and that I was now a follower of Rhiannon. Partly it was a mystical sort of thought as I came to believe that She had been calling me and trying to get my attention for years. I hope that I am making sense to you.

Get one of those cat toys where there's a stick and a jingling toy dangling on the end and tease the cats with it. It's a near guarantee that they'll start acting like kittens again.
